We are Faithful to God's Son

If you have been blessed with a family, especially a loving one, you understand this better than anyone.  Family is where love is born.  It’s the soil in which love grows and in which all family members can flourish.  A healthy family is the flower of a healthy love, a place where people truly seek each other’s better good.

Sadly, many families today are not like this.  America’s families are under attack and have been for many years.  They are fragmented, wounded, and failing.  They break apart.  In many that manage to stay together, chaos reigns, and unrighteousness and its influences play havoc with the unfortunate members.  Where God is pushed away, darkness rules.

Do you have a family?  Is it whole or broken?  Would you like to be a member of one that is secure and loving?  You can be!  Paul tells us so in Romans 8:14-17.

All who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”  The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

Yes!  God is the Father of all.  He has a family.  It’s called His church.  We would love to connect you with a church that can tell you all about how you can become one of his children and share in the riches of His inheritance.

We are Faithful To God’s Son

Jesus, God’s son, manifested himself on earth as a human being, lived the life of a man, was betrayed and murdered, and rose from death to assume all authority over all of creation.  We are faithful to Him.

We are Faithful to God’s Word

The Bible, God’s Word, breathes life, beauty, and truth into our spirits and inspires us to develop as God wants us to:  into images of Him.  We are faithful to the Word.

We are Faithful to Service

The Bible tells us that “faith without works is dead.”  We take this seriously.  Service to others is one of the most notable aspects of Christianity, especially service to the poor and to the moral development of children.  We are faithful to service.

We Are Faithful To Community

Each congregation of the Churches of Christ is a community of its own located within a larger community.  There would be no purpose for a church that was not.  Love demands that we seek its better good.  We are faithful to community.
